Face/Hair/Outfit of the day

My fantastic boyfriend brought me to see "Total Recall" in the cinema. I decided to fancy myself up abit, so I used my new "BIG BUN" from Sleep in Rollers.....Have to say I am LOVING it! it took literally 5 minutes....I didn't really have time to make it super neat. But I loved the effect and i felt very elegant. If you would like to buy this bun ring click HERE

Then we have my make up.....We were starting to run late for the film (oooopsie) so I needed to go fast and simple with my makeup. I reached for my old faithful NAKED PALETTE!!! I also bought a new MAC Lipglass and MAC Studio Fix (which I've never bought before), so I was dieing to try.

Oh I also got a new mirror that has a light around it and I love the effect it has on my eyes....vain much?

My nude lipstick has seen better days :(

Now my outfit... Jeggings from Savida aka the posh side of Dunnes Stores €20. White Vest from Pennys €4. Sheer button down collared vest from Tesco €7. Airwalk runners from Sportsworld/Heatons €30

MUA Undressed (Naked Palette Dupe)

I ordered this MUA palette last week from the UK and it took just over a week to arrive it cost £4 and just over £4 for shipping. Altogether is cost me €11.60. What appealed to me first was the price; £4, I thought, can't go wrong there Then the P&P was added, which was more expensive than the product. As MUA isn't sold in the Rep Ireland I had no other choice but to order on line. I HAD to get my hands on it to see if it really was a dupe for Urban Decays Naked Palette.
Available in Superdrug in the UK £4! Bargin

The colours are not named. So I'm just going to use the Urban Decay names! :)

These colours are identical to Virgin (top left), Sin (top right), Smog (bottom left) and Darkhorse (bottom right) on Urban Decays Naked Palette.

Dupes for Naked (top left), Sidecar (top right), Toasted (bottom left), Hustle (bottom right)

Dupes for Buck (top left), Half Baked (top right), Creep (bottom left), Gunmetal (bottom right)

I was amazed at how alike they were!
SWATCH TIME!

The only one that is very slightly different is "Gunmetal". It is a tiny bit more bluey!

You can see for yourself how alike they are. So all you guys who can't live without your Naked Palette, but don't have the moola/cash/wonga/reddies/money to spend in Urban Decay then MUA's Undressed is for you. The colour pay off is the exact same. I cannot wait to try it out on my eyes. It is well worth the £4, or €12 I spent, seen as The Naked Palette is nearly €40!!!
I'm planning on doing one eye MUA and one eye Urban Decay to see if there's a difference.....I'll keep you posted

LUSH Lip Scrub

Hello EVERYONE!!!
I was in Lush on Henry St Dublin a few months ago and when I saw their little pot of Lip. I just HAD to have it. Especially since Adoreabubbles was going on about it!
As you can see from the picture below my lips were in need of some attentation!
Mint Julips to the RESCUE!!!

They have 3 "Flavours"
Bubblegum
Sweet Lips
Mint Julips
I went with the chocolate minty flavour! YUM!

I love the little touches on the jar. My jar was made by LUKASZ!

I did expect it to be more sticky. But to my surprise it is quiet loose

When I got it onto my lips there was a bit of fall out. But no biggie!
So I buffed and rubbed the hell out of my lips!

And then for the BEST part!
LICKING IT OFF!!!!
It reminded me of After Eights!
Delish!

I was left with beautifully buffed smooth soft lips. I am sooooo impressed with this product.
I finished it off with a bit of lip balm
Its that good that my brother has started to nick it on me whenever I have it in my handbag!

Arbonne Review! :)

I LOVED LOVED LOVED these products!!!
Above picture is the RE9 Advanced set.
I tried these over a period of 5 days and I am so happy with the results. I have always suffered with dry skin on my jaw line, which resulted in small bumps under my skin, also I have a very dry "T-Zone"
The routine is simple
1.Smoothing Facial Cleanser
2.Regenerating Toner
3.Intensive Renewal Serum
4.Corrective Eye Creme
5.Restorative Day Creme/Night Repair Creme

I was SUPER impressed with the cleanser! Never have I had a product that removes make-up AND Mascara, especially for the amount of mascara I wear! No matter what I do I'm always left with "Panda Eye" the following morning. But not with Arbonne's Smoothing Facial Cleanser! The first time I used it to remove my make up I was so surprised. I really really LOVE it!
I ran out of Toner pretty quick because I put a little hole in the packet and forgot to cover it up....ooops!
The serum made my face feel like silk. It felt so soft and luxurious and I only had to use a small amount. With these products, less is more!
Thanks to the eye creme the dark circles under my eyes are no more!!! I recieved 2 eye cremes and I loved them both. I didn't see any difference with the fine lines under my eye, but I don't really have any (or that's what I tell myself anyway!)
The day creme has SPF 20 in it. It also has Vitamin C to support collagen and repair the skin. This Smelled AMAZING! So fresh and citrus!
The night creme was so nice and thick. It had a slight sent, similar to the day creme but not as strong!
You can get these products here at Arbonne

The FC5 Nourishing Daily Shampoo and Nourishing Daily Conditioner
I got to use the shampoo twice and the conditioner once. I have alot of hair so I always use loads of conditioner. My hair felt squeaky clean ofter using the shampoo and it was so so sooooo shiny after the conditioner! After blow drying and using my straightener my hair so amazingly straight! not one bit of frizz!
RE9 Nourishing Body Wash and Firming Cream
You definitely need to use a sponge or wash cloth because otherwise it wont lather up. But it smelled Divine! The body cream did wonders for the dry skin on my legs. I suffer with terrible dry skin on my legs and I can never seem to shift it. There was a huge difference after using the body wash and body cream.
As I already said I got 2 eye cremes and this is the second. FC5 Hydrating Eye Creme. I still have some of this left and I am going to try to make it last for as long as possible! I DO NOT want those black circles under my eyes coming back.

I gave the RE9 Instant Lift Gel and Age-Defying Neck Cream to my Mam to try. On the first day I gave her some toner to use before hand. She really liked the smell and said she could definitely feel some tightness on her forehead. On the second day she had no toner to use and said she needed to use more of the product to make it spread evenly. She told me she didn't see any difference with her neck, but then again she only used the cream for 2 days!

All in all I really enjoyed using these products and I have to say the Cleanser was my favourite. They all work so perfectly together and little is more, when it comes to using them.

I'd like to thank Connie Sergio who introduced me to, and sent me these samples. She is an Arbonne Consultant and here is the link to her site... Connie's Page You can find all the information and prices there.

Thanks you for visiting

My Friend Jenny!

This is my friend Jenny....Yes I do have friends. We met in school when I was 15, I'd moved from Dublin to Cavan. We had our own little gang of girls and we are ALL still friends. But now that we are growing up we are finding it hard to meet up as often as we'd like. So when Jenny asked me to do her make up I jumped at the chance to meet up.
In this Picture, Jenny is so happy because she had just one the local lotto (€11,900). That night she was going to collect her cheque, which she split with her boyfriend Darren because he had picked 2 of the numbers.
We used her own BB cream foundation and some of my Helen E Cosmetics foundation, along with Bella Bamba Blush.
On Jennys eyes I used my Urban Decay Naked pallet.( Virgin, Sin, Toasted, Hustle, Half Baked)
I also use some eyebrow stencils that I had bought on Ebay, but I brush them out abit because they were too defined

She always wanted to know how I did my nails so I also used  some konad on her nails!
I used OPI Did you 'ear about Van Gough and Konad Special Red with plate M 71
She Really liked the effects lol hahaha

After collecting the cheque!
